Course Description
“Learn the Korean Vowels and Consonants in English!”
“Cyber Korean Courses - Introductory” is a curriculum designed for people learning Korean for the first time. A teacher who speaks English teaches the lessons to cater to the level of non-Korean speaking learners.
This curriculum aims to teach the use of Korean vowels, consonants and final consonants (batchim) to familiarize learners with the Korean alphabet.
The curriculum is divided into three parts: “Introduction - Learning (Learning & Practice) - Exercises.”
In the “Introduction” part, the learner explores Korean-langauge signs and images that can be found in everyday life in Korea to help them recognize the goal and content of learning.
In the “Learning” part, the teacher explains how to write (format) and pronounce (sound) consonants. Then, the teacher makes sure the learner has fully understood the lesson through practice and exercises.
The “Wait!” corners can be used to once again review sounds that are difficult to differentiate.
Finally, the “Exercises” part allows the learner to practice writing words in Korean through the printed material provided. This helps the learner become familiar with writing Korean.
* Lessons are provided in the following languages (16 in total): Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Malay, Uzbek, Hindi, Mongolian, and Arabic.
